Trump in Valdosta
Former President Donald Trump visited Valdosta, Georgia, to deliver truckloads of relief aid following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Working with the evangelical Christian humanitarian organization Samaritan’s Purse, Trump and his team brought various supplies, including water, oil, and equipment, to help those affected. Several semi-trucks filled with aid, including a tanker truck with gasoline, were parked near the site where Trump spoke.
During his remarks, Trump acknowledged the widespread damage across several states, thanked first responders, and held a moment of silence for the victims. He emphasized that, despite the ongoing national election, the focus should be on helping those in need and standing in solidarity with those impacted by the hurricane.
